MBA Information for Taiwan and China

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall is designed to provide the leaders of tomorrow with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in a global business economy. The program emphasizes critical and strategic thinking, developing managerial skills, real-world applications, ethics, and leadership taught in a technologically-advanced, active learning environment. 

The MBA will also provide opportunities for students to think critically and strategically, and to be able to apply and integrate the knowledge they have accumulated to specific business situations. The program features topics such as global markets, ethics, ability to communicate, management of diversity, and leadership/teamwork skills. This program will provide the student with the knowledge and information needed to cope with our dynamic, rapidly changing world.

The one year layout of classes will use the following format:

 ** These students are transferring in four pre-approved courses from Taiwan to be transferred into the MBA program at SMSU.  This will allow the students to finish in one year.  

To apply to the program the following items are required:

  1. $30 (Non-Refundable) Application Fee
  2. A SpanTranECE or WES evaluation
  3. Reference names and contact information
  4. A letter of intent --- How will this master's program contribute to your professional growth?
  5. Immunization Form
  6. Financial Statements & Sponsor letter
  7. Medical History Form
  8. Color copy of your Passport
  9. Satisfactory level of score on either TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, CET-4, or CET-6
