Room Set-up Options

Residents have three basic options for the set-up of their room: Standard, Bunked, or Lofted.

Contact the Department of Residence Life by August 1st to request the bunked or lofted option. After August 1st, your request will be placed on our service list and will be completed in the order in which requests are received. The $25 per semester rental fee is automatically added to your Fall and Spring semester bills.

Standard set upA standard Sweetland room set up includes both beds on the floor. This option does not cost anything and you don't need to notify the Residence Life Office of your choice.

All double rooms come with two bed frames, two mattresses, six stackable dresser drawers, two rolling file cabinets, two closets, two desks and desk chairs, and a garbage can.

Each Sweetland hall room also includes air conditioning, a sink and mirror, and semi-private bathroom that is shared with another room of the same type (double or single room).

bunked set upA bunked Sweetland room set up is the option to bunk your bed with your roommate. You and your roommate will both need to request bunked beds in order to process the request. The bunk option is $25 per semester per roommate. Contract the Residence Life Office by August 1 to reserve a bunked set-up.
