Meet Your Advisor

“Meet Your Advisor” is a program designed to introduce new SMSU students to their academic advisor. The program takes place during Gold Rush Days before the fall semester begins. During “Meet Your Advisor”, students are given the opportunity to learn more about the intricacies of their major and also meet other students in their major. All new students, both first-year and transfer, are strongly encouraged to attend this event as it builds a foundation between students and their academic advisor that will be built on during their time here at SMSU.
