How to create a list of advisees NOT registered for the next semester:
- Log in to E-services.
- Click Overall Advisee List.
- Starting in the upper left-hand corner, highlight your entire list by ending in the lower right-hand corner.
- Copy the highlighted list.
- Open up a blank Excel workbook.
- In the upper left-hand corner, click and then paste in your Advisee List.
- Sort the Last Semester field, ascending Z-A.
- The list will begin with students with the most recent registration term.
- The following group will be the students not registered for the Next semester.
- Contact these advisees concerning their plans for the next semester.
*Please note - To avoid potential FERPA violations, it is extremely important to use BCC when emailing a list of students.
How to check your advisees' schedule
- Log in to E-services.
- Click Overall Advisee List.
- Click on the student’s name link.
- The student schedule will open in a new window.

How do I know if my advisees are F-1 international students?
- Run a DARS report.
- Check near the top of the DARS report for this statement:
- Advising Attention: F-1 International Student
How do I know if my advisees are athletes?
- Run a DARS report.
- Check near the top of the DARS report for this statement:
- Advising Attention: Mustang Intercollegiate Athlete
How do I know if my advisees are experiencing Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) issues with GPA and/or completion rate?
- Run a DARS report.
- In the top Student Data section, check for the following academic SAP Holds:
- 0093 – Academic Warning
- 0002 – Suspension
- 0001 – Probation
- Check the GPA requirement on the DARS report for cumulative GPA.
- Check the SAP requirement on the DARS report for the cumulative completion rate.
- Refer students to the Deeann Griebel Student Success Center for academic advising assistance.
Where do I find my advisees' documented test scores for ACT, SAT, MCA, Accuplacer, etc., for English & Math placement?
- Log in to E-services.
- Run Academic Record by Subject.
- Test scores are located in the upper left column.
Where do I find out if holds have been placed on my advisees' records?
- Run a DARS report.
- All holds will show in the Student Data section at the top of the DARS report.
- You will need to consult with your Advisee if these holds are affecting their ability to register for courses.
