This flexible scheduling was perfect for me as it allowed me to vary the amount of credits I took each semester. I would have struggled without that flexibility as I am a non-traditional student who is also a wife, mother of four, and worked full time while completing my degree. This program is designed to fit into your life, whether you want to be a full-time or part-time student.”

Staff and CCCE Advisory Group

All work at the Center for Civic & Community Engagement is guided by SMSU’s Civic Action Plan and the interdisciplinary campus Civic and Community Engagement Advisory Group. The group regularly affiliates with Student Affairs staff and community partners in the development of programs and delivery of services. If you are interested in joining the group, it is always available to join. The group usually meets on the third Friday of each month, contact Melissa Scholten if interested.
