Telephone Information
SMSU has changed over to a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) system, which allows calls to be transported over Internet lines rather than a separate phone line. For assistance with your new Cisco VOIP phone, please contact the Technology Resource Center at 507-537-6111 or TRChelpdesk@smsu.edu. A quick start reference guide for the Cisco 8941 and 8945 models is available here.
For computer related issues such as moving your personal computer you must contact the Technology Resource Center. You may reach TRC by calling 507-537-6111 or TRChelpdesk@smsu.edu.
Information on University cellular phones is available here.

- Please remember that telephones, including State issued cell phones, are for business use only. Please read the Statewide Policy for Appropriate Use of Electronic Communication and Technology for your reference. Personal use of campus long distance services is prohibited.
